Having regular dental check-ups are really important for maintaining healthy teeth and gums. Many people only think about booking a dental check-up when they are in dental discomfort. However, pain is a sign that something needs treatment, which can lead to even more pain and expense.
Instead, we recommend that you aim to have a dental check-up at least once per year, but twice per year would be ideal. Some patients need to visit the dentist even more frequently to manage problems such as gum disease or tooth decay. Once you’ve visited your Braintree dentist and we’ve got to know each other, we will give you a dental check-up schedule that suits your individual needs.
Seeing your dentist regularly allows us to keep track of your oral health, and enables us to take a more preventative approach to your care.

We recommend visiting us at the Braintree Dental Studio for a check-up at least twice a year. Your dentist will let you know if you should plan to have a check-up more frequently or less often.
Your initial appointment should take no longer than an hour.
It is common for a dentist or dental hygienist to clean your teeth on the first visit, but this may not happen unless you request it. If you do not have a cleaning at your check-up, you can schedule a further appointment.
X-rays are often necessary at your first dental check-up to help your dentist fully understand the condition of your dental health.
